My 1984 collage

I've started work on my 1984 poem. It was truly a dark transitional time with aspects of light that pierced through. The thing about Comics and Fantasies was its location from my middle school. It was just a few blocks away, enough for me to run away from the bullies and fights after school. A sanctuary. Larry was just a protector! I wish I knew how to get a hold of him, as I don't even know his last name. He was the first man I knew who was "out" in a time of a lot of LGBT-phobia. He was also a kind of father figure. (This isn't the Larry of the "Craig and Larry.")
