Let me just say this

I'm pumped up for the class that comes in a year from now. Really excited, as I go through books and get inspiration from colleagues.

Yep--colleagues. MW:
Middle French collegue, from Latin collega, from com- + legare to depute — more at legate
First Known Use: circa 1533

Origin of COLLEGE

Middle English, from Anglo-French, from Latin collegium society, from collega colleague — more at colleague
First Known Use: 14th century

I work at a college with colleagues.
